Group 25: Prestea Catholic School
Akwaaba (Welcome) to Prestea Catholic School. My name is Fr. James Arthur. I am a native of Ghana, West Africa, and I have served over 30 years in Wisconsin. Currently, I am the pastor of All Saints and St. Martin de Porres parishes in Milwaukee.
Over the past several years, through the generosity of parishioners like you, we have been able to build a first-class Catholic School for the children of Prestea that welcomes all to grow in their faith and pursue academic excellence! We are now in our final phase of this project--to complete the third floor which will be used for a formal gathering space, dining hall and study hall. This has been a 20 year journey in faith that began while I was serving in the Diocese of LaCrosse under the leadership of Archbishop Listecki (who was my Bishop in LaCrosse).
Our school serves nearly 800 students from pre-school to high school. We provide a space for catechism as well as a community gathering space. I thank you on behalf of the children and the educators for your generosity and prayers. May God continue to bless and keep you in good health, spirit, mind, and body.
