We seek to encourage and support science confidence in each student and encourage girls to pursue STEM careers.
Each full-time science teacher is also responsible for staffing our ALPHA Center one period. The ALPHA Center is DSHA’s drop-in academic help center, staffed each period by an English teacher, math teacher and science teacher. Data analysis shows that these three subjects are the ones students struggle in the most at DSHA.
