School Sisters of St. Francis

School Sisters of St. Francis are an international community of 625 women in the United States, Europe, Latin America, India, and Tanzania. School Sisters serve in educational, healing and pastoral ministries in 11 states in the U.S. and in 10 countries globally. Our mission is to witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ and the presence of the reign of God as we enter into the lives and needs of people, especially the poor.

We commit ourselves to develop nonviolent, healing processes and mechanisms to achieve mutuality, reconciliation and justice among ourselves, in our ministries, in the Church, and in broader society.
