Last year, Catholics in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee raised $93,000 for the Catholic Communication Campaign. Of that money, $66,100 stayed in our archdiocese to help Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki share his seasonal Advent and Lenten radio messages to people in southeastern Wisconsin.
From preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to sharing personal experiences of how God has touched his own life, Archbishop Listecki’s radio reflections are a wonderful way for him to share God’s message of unconditional love to all those who might not have the opportunity to hear in person. The campaign also supports the archdiocesan recording studios, from which Two Guys and a Gospel, Guided by Saints, Living Our Faith, and Viviendo Nuestra Fe are recorded and produced.
Visit the archdiocesan Communications Office for more information on these programs.
Through websites, social networks, television, radio, and print, the Catholic Communication Campaign (CCC) helps the Church spread the Gospel message through the media locally and nationally.Half of all donations to the CCC collected in your diocese stay in your diocese to support your local communications needs, such as radio and television programming and diocesan publications.
The CCC funds facilitate live-streaming of events (such as Pope Francis' Apostolic Visit to the U.S. in 2015), support for the USCCB website and video productions, media campaigns to support sacramental communications and aid, as well as various scholarships to promote Catholic communication. Visit the CCC website for more information on this national initiative.
