This video was produced as a part of the Parish Reflection sessions that will be held across the Archdiocese this year in preparation for the Archdiocesan Synod, which will take place in June 2014. Each parish session includes three parts: Catholic Identity, Evangelization and Stewardship. This video will be the introduction for the parish sessions -- and includes a personal welcome by Archbishop Listecki. Here, he sets the context for the Synod -- and how parish sessions fit into the planning of the Synod.
The Synod will provide the faith community the opportunity to develop a renewed vision of how we work together in implementing our pastoral priorities of Catholic Identity, Evangelization and Stewardship. The hope of the Synod will be to re-energize Catholics in their faith and inspire a new evangelization within the Church of southeastern Wisconsin. Though not a requirement, participants are also encouraged to read and reflect on this letter. Click here for more information.
