Return to Life

In addition to our ongoing Single Again divorce support group, St. John Vianney is offering a special six-week series to help people who are dealing with the myriad issues of divorce.  Return to Life is a six-week divorce recovery series developed by Marianne F. Skrobiak, M.S., M.A., LPC to help normalize the divorce process and offer hope and healing to those going through separation or divorce. It will be open to anyone who needs it, Catholic or not, on Wednesday evenings beginning October 6, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in room P201 in the Parish Center, 1755 N. Calhoun Road in Brookfield. The cost for the series is only $10. To register, please call the Christian Formation Office at 262-796-3044. Due to the COVID variant, we will require masks. Participants will benefit from the leader’s input and sharing with other participants.

Blue Christmas Prayer Service

On Monday, December 20, we will be having a Blue Christmas prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at St.Bernadette, 8200 West Denver Avenue, Milwaukee. If you are struggling through the holiday season due to loss of a loved one, financial difficulties, health issues, difficulties within your family, or any other reason, please join us as we share an evening of prayer, scripture, and song.

Grief to Healing Support Group

Our parishes will be starting a Grief to Healing group in the new year. The meetings will be held at St.Bernadette (8200 West Denver Avenue, Milwaukee) on the first Tuesday of each month at 11:00 a.m. beginning on January 4.
