New Horizons - A Day of Healing: Beyond Divorce
Presenter: Marianne Skrobiak, MS, MA, LPC.
Marianne is a licensed psychotherapist with many years’ experiencein separated and divorced ministry, and author of the “Return to Life” series.

Parish-Based Support Groups
Corpus Christi Parish

Description: No matter how amicable, separation or divorce is one of life’s most painful experiences. Our Divorce Care Support Group offers a safe, faith-filled, and welcoming space where people understand what you’re going through. Guided by compassion and the healing love of Christ, you’ll find encouragement, practical wisdom, and a community that reminds you—you are not alone.
What we do:
During this 13-week program, participants will:
- Explore what to expect in the days ahead and learn how to navigate the emotional ups and downs of separation and divorce.
- Discover helpful ways to cope with challenges, rebuild confidence, and strengthen relationships.
- Receive faith-based guidance and support each step of the way on your healing journey.
Sessions will be held Wednesday evenings from 6:00–7:30 PM, re-starting in January 2026, at St. John Neumann Church.

Path to Healing

Path to Healing is a support community for those who have experienced the trauma of divorce, whether recently or years ago. The goal is to provide a welcoming space for both parish members and the surrounding community to support one another in the healing process and address the challenges that come with divorce. You are invited to join the support group at St. James and do not need to be a member of the Parish to participate.

Single Again Divorce Ministry is a support community for those who are separated or divorced. Meetings are free, with no registration required. Come to make new friends, learn, and find healing. It is open to all men and women from any parish or none.

Separated & Divorced Support Group is a support community for individuals who are separated or divorced to offer and receive support. The group is facilitated by Deacon John Murray and his wife, Missy. This group meets monthly at St. Anthony in the bride's room. It is open to anyone.

Washington County Separated, Divorced, and Widowed Men and Women is a support community that provides a means to share ideas, concerns, support, love, and fellowship from a Christian perspective. They have guest speakers, panel discussions, small group sharing, and other activities.
