Amy Lisinski
As an archivist, Amy promotes the history of the archdiocese by collecting and maintaining permanently valuable records. In her role, Amy works with parishes to identify permanent records, establish parish archives, and navigate the transfer of records. She also assists in the development of records management policies for the central offices and provides research services to historical researchers and genealogists. Additionally, she issues sacramental certificates and maintains sacramental registers of former parishes and provides assistance to those trying to locate their sacramental records. Amy earned her Masters in Library and Information Science with a concentration in Archives & Records Management from UW-Milwaukee. She has worked in diocesan archives for nine years having also worked as an archivist for the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Amy previously served as a board member of the Association of Catholic Diocesan Archivists and is an active member of the Midwest Archives Conference and the Society of American Archivists. On her off days, Amy enjoys reading, exploring museums and historical sites, trying new recipes, and hiking with her dog.
