Mission Statement & Philosophy

We are Gesu Parish, a Catholic faith community gathered in the heart of the city by our loving God, called to be disciples of Jesus, and enlivened by the Spirit. We welcome everyone, that we might fully reflect the glory of God. In all we do, we desire to walk with Jesus, whom we encounter in the Gospel and whose special love was for the poor. We share with the Jesuits a mission of lived faith that promotes justice for all, and the guidance of Ignatian spirituality which nourishes our prayer and action.
