Equipping Leaders and Parishes for Making Disciples
The Office for Missionary Planning and Leadership supports parish leadership in their singular mission of making disciples (Matthew 28:16-20). We serve parishes in living out this mission through leadership training, transition and organizational health coaching, strategic missionary planning, data collection and analysis, the Building Committee proxy process, and norms and manuals for Pastoral Councils, Finance Councils, Trustees, and Parish Committees.
The office trains parish leaders on making and sending disciples to fulfill Jesus' missionary mandate.
The office provides parish leaders with the process and tools so they can lead their parish in a "data informed - mission driven" fashion. For example, check out the latest ExecutiveInsite report on the Archdiocese of Milwaukee This report will be updated annually.
MissionInsite empowers Archdiocesan offices, deaneries, parishes and schools with demographic tools to bridge the gap from data to decision. It takes data from various sources, including inside and outside the parish.
The office provides coaching on leadership, team-building, effective meetings, strategic thinking, mergers and multi-parish collaboration.

Comprised of representatives from throughout the ten counties of the archdiocese, the APC meets regularly with the Archbishop to consult on matters related to pastoral activity and the mission of the church.
Efforts are underway to build the next ten-year plan for the Archdiocese. Information and updates are available as planning progresses. The status on the implementation of the 2020 Plan can be viewed.
