Artists will be honored and entries in each art category will be showcased at a venue in March, 2010. This event will be open to the public.

The names of Grand Prize winners will be announced at the showcase.

Judges will select Diocesan contest winners prior to the showcase. The two grand prize winners’ artwork will be forwarded to Washington D.C. for national competition following the exhibit.

DIOCESAN AWARDS - ARCHDIOCESE OF MILWAUKEE

Two Diocesan Grand Prize winners will each receive a $75 cash award. The submissions will be featured and announced at the showcase. These entries will be sent to Washington for national competition.

Two Diocesan Second Place winners will receive a $25 cash award. Entries not being sent to Washington will be also be displayed during the showcase.

Additional prizes may be awarded.

NATIONAL AWARDS

The National CCHD office will select National contest winners.

The National Grand Prize winner will receive a $500 cash award and a $500 gift to be designated in the winner's name to a CCHD-funded project. The grand prize winner will be awarded this prize at a national conference, with all expenses paid for the winner and an accompanying adult to attend the awards ceremony.

The National Second Place winner will receive a $375 cash award and a $375 gift to be designated in the winner's name to a CCHD-funded project.

A National Third Place winner and honorable mentions may also be awarded if appropriate.
