The Office of Social Justice Ministry is pleased to announce $30,482.16 will support local poverty alleviation programs throughout the ten counties of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Funds were raised through the 2009 Operation Rice Bowl program. Distributions from the 2009 campaign will be made in October 2009.
$6,134.54 was distributed by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee from donations not designated directly by participating parishes:
