We are searching for a creative and energetic part-time Spanish teacher to join our amazing teaching staff. Applicants must possess the necessary certifications, knowledge, skills, and dispositions to demonstrate thorough planning, deliver engaging instruction, facilitate formative and summative assessments aligned with Archdiocesan standards, and participate in professional activities. Our Spanish teacher would teach our students in grade 5-8 twice a week. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Share and support the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives of the school.

Be accountable to Archdiocesan curriculum standards for all assigned curricular areas.

Design, plan, and implement engaging and effective lessons for students.

Utilize a variety of methods of instruction and assessment, integrating technology and visual arts

Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions.

Utilize Google Suite software for implementing lessons, posting homework, and communicating with families.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding classroom activities, behavior, and progress (newsletters, phone calls, e-mails, notes, conversations, meetings).

Plan and participate in formal parent-teacher conferences scheduled annually.

Cooperate with the faculty in the planning and execution of special projects and events.

Plan and execute concert logistics, and direct student Christmas concert

Maintain professional attire, communication, and demeanor at all times.

Participate in ongoing professional development related to areas of assigned professional responsibility.

Contribute professional, collaborative service to level teams, curriculum teams, and faculty leadership teams as assigned.

Serve as a role model of the Catholic faith, witness of Gospel values, and uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church.
