The primary task of the Assistant Principal is to serve as an educational leader of grades PreK-8, specifically regarding classroom management and student behavior. The Assistant Principal is responsible for supporting maintaining building operations, managing and coaching faculty and staff, and communicating effectively with parents/families to ensure a positive school climate. The successful applicant will understand and demonstrate the knowledge of best practices in restorative practices, mentoring teachers and exhibit an ability to learn, lead and work collaboratively with the Principal and faculty. The Assistant Principal is a spiritual leader, both leading by example and ensuring that our Catholic faith and the mission of St. Mary’s Springs is at the heart of all we do.
Qualifications
Candidates preferably are certified with a Master’s Degree in Education Administration, leadership or equivalent, and Wisconsin Principal License. Candidates shall possess the enthusiasm, optimism and courage to provide leadership for the advancement of Catholic education in the greater Fond du Lac area. The successful candidate is a team player, flexible and collaborates with colleagues. A faith- and values-based Catholic educator is preferred.
