  13th Annual Black Sacred Liturgy

The Annual Black Sacred Liturgy is held annually, usually on the first Sunday of August. The sacred liturgy is often led by a nationally-known African-American priest or bishop. Past presiders have included Fr. Chester Smith, SVD, Fr. Paul Whittington, OP, and Fr. Bryan Massingale. This Mass promotes on a broad public scale the celebration and development of liturgy that is authentically Black and Catholic. 2010 will be the 13th year of this celebration.

Please join us for a lively celebration of our faith in the Black Catholic tradition!
