Journey to Justice - JustFaith Retreat

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 16:3

The Church’s history shines with examples of the courage and commitment of those who dedicate themselves to the needs of their most desperate sisters and brothers.

At JustFaith Ministries we are helping ordinary people become shining examples of this vision within their own communities.  We are helping faith communities become shining examples of this vision to the world.  Simply put, we are helping to fill the world with humble, faith-filled people who act with courageous justice and love with profound tenderness.

“Journey to Justice” is the middle retreat in the JustFaith process. During this day, participants are led through prayer, Scripture reflection, and Catholic Social Teaching, especially as they relate to the preferential option for and with the poor, and the building of solidarity across economic lines. A major portion of the day is devoted to an immersion experience with two or more Catholic Campaign for Human Development locally funded groups.

The next retreat will be held on January 30, 2010. Details regarding location will be available in early October. If interested in attending, please reserve the day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please RSVP by January 15, 2010.
